Hand-Dyed Adire Shorts with Tie Belt
Made from 100% hand-dyed Adire fabric crafted in Nigeria, the Makgadi Shorts are a wearable piece of West African textile art. Adire is a hand-dyed resist technique originating in Nigeria, giving each piece a subtly unique, artisanal character. Hand wash cold. Ethically made in Kenya through fair trade practices.
An attached tie belt allows for a customizable, flattering fit — cinched for a defined waist or worn loose for a relaxed, easy silhouette. Named after the Makgadikgadi Pans, one of the world's largest salt flats in Botswana.
A great choice for summer events, resort dressing, creative occasions, and elevated casual wear. Not suited for formal or black-tie settings. Fits true to size. Sample sale item — limited stock.
Handcrafted in Nigeria, designed by Kahindo Mateene, celebrating West African artisan textile traditions.
